Magellanic Cloud Limited announced its strategic expansion into the AI smart fuel and retail automation sector, with its wholly owned subsidiary Provigil Surveillance Limited receiving a purchase order valued at ₹44.60 Lakh (Rs. 44,60,400/-) from Nayara Energy Limited. The order covers implementing an advanced AI-powered Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Video Analytics Platform across selected Retail Outlets and Oil Depots. The company said the contract marks its entry into India's AI fuel retail automation and enterprise surveillance market and strengthens its order book in AI-powered video analytics. The platform integrates computer vision directly with forecourt dispensing infrastructure, delivering automated vehicle-to-dispense validation, security monitoring, and depot safety MIS reporting. Magellanic Cloud said the initial deployment serves as a strategic launchpad to target nationwide rollouts across private and public sector oil marketing company outlets and distribution depots, positioning Provigil Surveillance to unlock recurring order pipelines and long-term tech-upgrade contracts. Chairman & Managing Director Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma called the contract a major operational milestone and said the order positions the company to scale across a high growth vertical as oil marketing companies accelerate forecourt digitization.
