Samsung Electronics held its '2026 Tech Forum' on the 18th (local time) at Samsung Research America (SRA) in Mountain View, Silicon Valley, USA, meeting global technology professionals to share its mid- to long-term business vision centered on artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics. Now in its eighth year, the event drew about 80 participants, including leading developers from global information technology (IT) companies and key Samsung Electronics executives. Samsung was represented by Tae-moon Roh, CEO of the Device eXperience (DX) Division; Wonjin Lee, President and Head of the Visual Display Business; Janghyun Yoon, President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the DX Division; and Wonjun Choi, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business. The forum was organized in connection with the 'Your Companion to AI Living' vision presented at CES 2026 earlier this year. Management introduced a mid- to long-term AI vision and business strategy expanding beyond conventional smart devices into everyday integration with AI and robotics.
