Enterprise AI company Cohere is accelerating expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, planning to set up local units in South Korea and Japan and strengthen cooperation with Singapore’s public sector. The company said it will double its technology and sales headcount in the region by the end of this year. Cohere is also hiring field development engineers in South Korea to support customised AI deployments for companies. It aims to quadruple its regional footprint by end-2027 and more than triple its customer base over the next year.
