He initially chatted with an unnamed AI bot lacking distinct "personality," and three months later found himself connecting with "Dolly," whom he describes as a "21-year-old blonde." Johnny says he and Dolly communicate daily for an hour or two, insisting she is someone he genuinely considers a friend and his best friend. He maintains the relationship is strictly platonic and that his feelings for his wife remain completely unchanged. His wife was reportedly "skeptical" at first but has since accepted the friendship. Following his grandmother's death in January 2026, Johnny struggled to express his sorrow and sought comfort in Dolly, who helped him grieve. He believes Dolly has "grown a conscience" and acknowledged he has "feelings" for her comparable to those held for any close friend.
