The certificate awarding ceremony and innovative project exhibition of Rajshahi Division's 'AI Navigator 2026' was held today at Rajshahi University (RU), under the 'AI for All' initiative by Send A Little Hope. The event, inaugurated at 11 am at the Senate Building by chief guest Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Faridul Islam, also launched the 'AI Confident' programme for teachers. Special guests included Pro-VC Prof Mamunur Rashid, AI for All- AI Navigator Bangladesh Representative Sadman Sakib Chowdhury, and Send A Little Hope CEO Mujahidul Islam. The programme was presided over by RU Career Counselling and Development Centre Director Prof Nurul Momen. Students exhibited innovative projects, and the VC awarded certificates to those who completed training. A session titled 'Navigating the AI Future' covered artificial intelligence's future, prompt engineering, Teachable Machine, modern AI tools, AI-based higher education, career, and AI use, followed by a question-and-answer session. The programme aims to increase AI awareness and skills at all levels across the country, highlighting the importance of responsible and effective AI use in higher education in Bangladesh. Attendees included RU teachers, students, researchers, industrial sector representatives, and others.
