Fermaca announced its designation as the first NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) based in Mexico and unveiled an AI factory platform designed to position the country as a producer of advanced AI capabilities for Mexico and Latin America. Beginning with Fermaca Digital Origins in Mexico City, the phased rollout combines Fermaca's infrastructure development and operating experience with the NVIDIA accelerated computing platform to expand access to the computing capacity businesses and institutions need to build and deploy AI. Fermaca's strategy reaches from gas molecule to token, bringing together gas infrastructure and energy development with fiber connectivity, AI facilities and accelerated computing to address infrastructure constraints that determine where AI can be built and how far it can scale. The developments are designed to advance Mexico's economic progress and strengthen its digital sovereignty by building capacity to develop and deploy AI on infrastructure located in Mexico, helping Mexican businesses, universities and institutions address national priorities and retain more of the knowledge and economic value created by AI. Manuel Calvillo said Fermaca is investing in Mexico's capacity to produce intelligence, create economic value and shape its own technological future. Marcio Aguiar, director of enterprise for Latin America at NVIDIA, said Fermaca is building an AI factory powered by NVIDIA B300 NVL72 systems to help enterprises across Mexico and Latin America develop and deploy AI using their own data.
