Hyundai Motor Group said on the 5th that it had discussed the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and electrification technologies with executives and technology leaders from the global automotive industry. The group co-hosted the FISITA World Mobility Summit 2026 with the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA) on the 4th and 5th at the Rolling Hills Hotel in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, the first time the biennial summit had been held in Korea. At the event, the group presented a strategy to respond to market changes with a range of electrification technologies and boost its competitiveness in vehicle development by combining AI and engineering capabilities. The event, themed “Embracing the Complexity of Mobility,” covered software-defined vehicles (SDVs), AI, autonomous driving, batteries, and energy infrastructure.
