OpenAI has integrated FIFA World Cup odds data from prediction-market platform Kalshi into ChatGPT search results, according to a report. The integration marks OpenAI’s first partnership with a prediction-market platform and was introduced without a public announcement. Kalshi’s monthly notional trading volume exceeded $33 billion last month. Cointelegraph, citing the New York Times, reported on July 14 that ChatGPT now displays Kalshi-based prediction-market odds in graphic form when users search for World Cup matches. According to the report, a ChatGPT search for France versus Spain shows France with a 59% chance of winning. Kalshi did not respond to Cointelegraph’s request for comment, and OpenAI did not immediately reply.
