CloudMile, a prominent Asian AI and cloud services provider, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tookitaki, a global specialist in anti-money laundering (AML) and transaction fraud prevention, to jointly develop a secure, AI-driven financial crime prevention ecosystem for Malaysia's banking sector. The partnership, announced Tuesday, targets the escalating speed and sophistication of digital financial crime as instant payment networks like DuitNow accelerate transaction velocities to mere milliseconds. CloudMile and Tookitaki aim to close this gap by integrating Tookitaki's AI detection engine with CloudMile's secure cloud architecture, creating a "regulator-ready" platform. According to internal data from Tookitaki and customer case studies, its FinCense platform has demonstrated a 50% reduction in false alerts and a 45% improvement in fraud detection cost efficiency for partner banks. Under the MoU, CloudMile will design secure cloud infrastructure built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host Tookitaki's FinCense engine, while Tookitaki contributes detection intelligence through its Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Ecosystem.
