I tested Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini by having them build my resume from a job posting, aiming for a polished, portfolio-style webpage saved as a PDF. Claude, using Opus 5, first asked 23 questions before drafting. Its initial output was plain white with dense text blocks, though it uniquely cited my article count from my How-To Geek catalog—the numbers were wrong, stating 338 articles—and positioned me as "already inside the network" due to How-To Geek's ownership by Valnet. I found the resume's readability poor, so I requested a more visually appealing design.
