YouTube today launched AI-powered comment search tools inside YouTube Studio, giving creators a way to find and group comments by subject and intent rather than relying on exact word matches. The update, announced on June 26, 2026 through the YouTube Help Community forum, is available on desktop to all creators globally as of its release date. The old exact-match field remains, now relabeled as "Keywords," alongside a new "Search" filter that uses AI to understand the meaning and intent behind comments. The search field supports queries up to 100 characters. The update introduces three tools: Search by topic, where creators type a natural-language query; Suggested topics, including themes such as "Excitement and enthusiasm" and "Negative feedback"; and Find similar comments, which works from a different entry point.
