Ticketmaster announced on 12 August that it is now available as a Connected App in Google Gemini, allowing fans to discover concerts and other live events through natural-language conversations with the AI platform. Once connected, users can call on @Ticketmaster and make requests such as “What concerts are happening in Chicago this weekend?” or search for tickets based on preferences including price and quantity. Fans can browse eligible events, compare seating options and ticket prices, and select preferred tickets within Gemini. When ready to buy, they are redirected to Ticketmaster’s marketplace with selected seats pre-selected to complete the purchase. According to Ticketmaster, eligible events will automatically appear in relevant searches, giving event organisers another way to reach potential attendees during early discovery and planning stages. The integration is currently available in English on Gemini via web, iOS, and Android for users in the United States. Ticketmaster said it plans to expand the feature to more languages and markets in the future. Gemini joins a growing list of AI platforms through which Ticketmaster has expanded event discovery, alongside ChatGPT, Claude, and Amazon Alexa+. The new integration comes as conversational AI increasingly becomes part of how users search for recommendations, compare options, and decide what to do next.
