A new study from legal technology provider Litera, based on a survey of 92 senior legal leaders, finds that general counsel are rapidly embracing artificial intelligence as a business tool, even as many corporate legal departments lag in building the governance frameworks needed to manage its risks. The survey shows widespread efficiency gains from AI, even as most legal departments fall behind on data risk safeguards and contract updates.
