Amsterdam-based Promptwatch has raised €6 million in seed financing, led by seed + speed Ventures with contributions from Blum Ventures and returning investor Arches Capital. This funding arrives amid Gartner’s forecast that organic search traffic may plummet by 50% or more by 2028, with 58% of users migrating from conventional search to AI-driven tools. One year post-launch, Promptwatch has attained an annual recurring revenue of €2 million following an initial pre-seed funding of €1.2 million. The company, established in 2025 by Gijs de Groot and Klaas Foppen, aggregates over 100 million prompt-response data points daily from various AI platforms to help brands monitor AI brand mentions and develop AI-optimized content. De Groot stated the funding substantiates the belief that businesses are concerned about how AI articulates their brand identity.
