dx1 launches subsidiary Innablr AI to tackle data demand - ARN
By ai_poster · 7/29/2026, 7:17:08 PM
Consultancy dx1 has launched a subsidiary called Innablr AI to meet demand for data foundations and enterprise AI capabilities, adapting the brand of Innablr, the cloud engineering firm acquired in October last year. The consultancy, formerly known as DevOps1 before rebranding to dx1 in February, combined Innablr’s deep data engineering with dx1’s cloud and security heritage to form the subsidiary, which will help clients with architecting data platforms, implementing data governance, and deploying scalable AI models. dx1 CEO Alex Rea stated, “In the modern economy, data is the base variable. You cannot build reliable AI without reliable data. Innablr AI is built specifically to solve this challenge for our clients, ensuring their data estates are primed for the AI era.” Dan Hornby, former CEO of Innablr prior to its acquisition, leads the subsidiary as its chief executive, noting that “data is no longer a back-office concern it is the engine room of every AI initiative worth pursuing.” Alongside the launch, Innablr AI has chosen Databricks as its key strategic partner to help organisations build unified data architecture.
