According to the sources, DeepSeek CEO Liang Wenfeng told investors that the company wants to use more Chinese-made training chips and added that it hopes to receive a new batch of Huawei's chips in the fourth quarter of 2026 or the first quarter of 2027. In July, Liang claimed that Chinese chips are likely to be able to compete with Nvidia's within a year.
