Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has opened up about his long-standing admiration for the club, revealing how N'Golo Kante and Claude Makelele inspired his journey to professional football. "I always supported Chelsea because N’Golo Kante played for Chelsea and he was my inspiration – he and Claude Makelele," Caicedo said. He added that he did not watch Makelele live but would watch videos of him, and that he grew up watching them as his inspiration to become a professional player. Caicedo also shared that when he got an agent, he asked if it would be possible to get a Chelsea shirt, and the next time he saw him, the agent brought a shirt for him. "It was special for me. I would have liked to have had Kante on the back but I was still so excited just to have the shirt," he said.
