Buyers can choose from four color options, round or square frames, and clear or tinted lenses. The glasses feature a 12MP ultra-wide FPV camera, HTC's VIVE AI voice assistant, and optional access to Google Gemini and ChatGPT, supporting AI features like note taking and real-time translation of captured photos into audio across 13 languages. The camera captures photos at up to 3,024 × 4,032 pixels and records video at 1,512 × 2,016 resolution at up to 30 fps. The device includes four microphones, stereo speakers, a 235mAh battery rated for up to 4.5 hours of continuous playback or 36 hours of standby time, and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and IP54 water and dust resistance. The Vive Eagle weighs either 48.8g (medium) or 51.5g (large) and is available to preorder on Amazon for $499, with shipping slated for September 1, 2026.
