Keimyung University, led by President Shin Il-hee, was selected as the host university for the artificial intelligence (AI) field of the Ministry of Education and Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT)’s *2026 Advanced Industry Talent Training Bootcamp*. The project, running from March 2026 to 2031 (5 years, 60 units months), will receive a total of 7.125 billion Korean won in national funding. The university is implementing a “university-type AI intensive training model” adopting “Human AI,” human-centered technological innovation, as its core value. It operates three major-specialized tracks: △Biomedical AI △Robot AI △Content Software AI, linked to Daegu’s future growth industries. Each track is structured into three levels—beginner (Human AI-I), intermediate (Human AI-X), and advanced (Human AI-P)—and course completers can earn digital badges from KIAT and ABEEK. The educational model is dual-tracked, with theory- and planning-focused curricula during semesters and immersive, project-based learning (PBL) during vacations, conducted via hybrid platforms including LMS, Discord, and ZEP.
