In the UAE’s first robot wedding, Dubai’s most famous robot, Bu Sunaidah, married his other half on August 1. The event was staged as a cultural entertainment showcase rather than an official legal ceremony. Dressed in traditional Emirati local attire, the humanoid robot wed his bride, a Unitree G1s, a highly agile mass-produced humanoid robot, who appeared in a black abaya with gold trim. The event saw men in kandura standing either side of her.
