Moody’s provides credit ratings, risk analysis, and market intelligence to capital markets, and its customers wanted Moody’s trusted data inside the tools they use every day, reducing the need to negotiate fragmented systems to find and assess it. Moody’s worked with Microsoft to build a federated connector, based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), that brings its proprietary data into Microsoft 365 Copilot, so users can query live, citing Moody’s intelligence without leaving their work. Users can now query Moody’s live, decision-grade intelligence within Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams, with no data copied or exported. Internally, Copilot can reduce the time spent gathering information across systems for briefing preparation.
