Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said during a financial results meeting that the company will not use artificial intelligence to cut costs, unlike competitors who expect to save hundreds of millions of dollars with the technology. Zelnick noted that Take-Two has used AI and machine learning for many years but views them as a way to empower approximately 13,000 employees, enhancing their creative potential rather than replacing it. He stated the available tools will not put people out of work and that new technology should help teams create larger and higher-quality games, not be used primarily to reduce expenses.
