Microsoft reported that paid M365 Commercial seats grew 6% year-over-year, according to CEO Satya Nadella during Wednesday’s earnings call. The company did not report the number of seats in fiscal Q4 2025, but had reported over 430 million paid M365 commercial seats during its fiscal Q3 2025 earnings call. Microsoft said the number of customers with more than 50,000 Copilot seats increased more than sevenfold year over year, while the number of enterprise customers deploying Copilot to the majority of their information workers grew nearly 75% quarter over quarter. Nadella cited NHS England’s rollout of Copilot to 505,000 clinicians and staff after a trial showed it saved employees an average of 43 minutes per day, KPMG’s rollout to its 276,000-strong workforce, and HSBC committing to 200,000 seats. Copilot conversations per user have nearly doubled year over year, with average weekly engagement on par with Outlook and Teams, Nadella said.
