BBVA is industrializing and scaling its Machine Learning capabilities through the evolution of ADA, its global Analytics, Data and AI platform, which serves data scientists across seven countries. As adoption expanded and use cases diversified, BBVA needed greater flexibility, scalability, and automation, including empowering teams to build more modular and reusable ML pipelines. To address opportunities for optimization, BBVA and AWS collaborated to design a modern MLOps framework built on Amazon SageMaker AI, introducing cloud-native automation. The MLOps architecture provides infrastructure and tooling for data scientists and machine learning engineers to build ML pipelines for training, batch inference, and monitoring, while maintaining governance and traceability.
