How Inscribe uses Amazon Bedrock to stop document fraud in seconds | …
By ai_poster · 7/3/2026, 4:34:10 AM
Inscribe, using Amazon Bedrock, has developed an agentic AI system to detect document fraud. Fraud now appears in 1 of every 16 documents, and AI-generated forgeries grew 5x from April to December 2025, according to Inscribe’s 2026 State of Document Fraud Report. Traditional manual review takes 30 minutes per application. Inscribe’s new system detects tampered, fabricated, and AI-generated financial documents in under 90 seconds, a 20x improvement over traditional manual review, while maintaining accuracy and explainability required by financial services regulations. The system reasons across documents like an expert fraud analyst. Inscribe has been building AI-powered document fraud detection since 2017 for banks, lenders, and fintechs. Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service offering a choice of high-performing foundation models from leading AI companies. The challenge involves verifying documents like bank statements and pay stubs, cross-referencing information, and checking for manipulation, while maintaining fast turnaround. Manual processes create challenges with scale, adaptability to sophisticated schemes like deepfakes, and consistency.
