In an experiment, [Lee Hutchinson] used LLMs to design a digital clock case via Autodesk Fusion’s new MCP server feature. [Lee] first set up time synchronization using systemd, then wrote a display-driving script with Python and Claude Code. For the case, [Lee] connected LLMs to Fusion’s MCP server. The local Qwen model got most of the way there on one request but made mistakes for the other; a subsequent pass with the more powerful Claude models got the job done.
