Progress Software has acquired Domo's AI and data platform for $400 million. The acquisition will add over 2,400 enterprise customers and enhance Progress Software's AI capabilities with a new analytics layer. Progress Software agreed on July 22, 2026 to purchase substantially all assets of Domo, the cloud-native AI and analytics company, for $400 million in cash. The deal, structured as an asset purchase, brings Domo's agentic platform into Progress' growing AI infrastructure stack and is expected to close before Progress' fiscal year ends November 30, 2026, according to the company's announcement via GlobeNewswire. Progress is acquiring Domo's full product platform, including its agentic AI capabilities, data integration layer, and analytics stack built around governed, cloud-native architectures. Along with the technology, Progress picks up a customer base of more than 2,400 businesses and a network of strategic cloud data warehouse partnerships. Progress CEO Yogesh Gupta framed the strategic rationale around data trust, telling investors that effective AI starts with accurate, trusted data and that Domo's expertise in cloud architectures and analytics is highly complementary to Progress' expanding data platform.
