Zillow has partnered with Google's Gemini AI to enable renters in the United States to find rental properties on a single platform. Michael Sherman, SVP Rentals at Zillow, announced on LinkedIn that starting today, renters can find Zillow listings and book tours directly in Google Gemini, noting that Zillow Rentals is the first real estate platform with a connected app inside Gemini. A Google blog stated that Gemini Spark integrations have also been launched with Canva, Dropbox, Instacart and OpenTable across web and mobile. In Q1, Zillow Rentals' revenue was $183 million, up 42%, driven by a 57% increase in multifamily revenue, while CoStar's rentals portal Apartments.com posted its 15th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, with revenue up 10% to $312 million for the quarter.
