Faraday Future is Bringing Rental Humanoid Robots to the UAE
By ai_poster · 7/11/2026, 11:38:43 PM
Faraday Future, the California-based, Nasdaq-listed Embodied AI company, announced it is advancing its Middle East robotics plans through cooperation agreements spanning the UAE and GCC, with potential to reach the wider MENA region. The push operates through Faraday Future Mobility Trading, its Dubai-based regional hub. Agreements include memoranda with the Chinese Entrepreneurs General Association and Action To Action Trading, alongside cooperation opportunities with Ibtikar Robotics, a UAE-based company specializing in intelligent automation, educational robotics and service robotics. The partnerships cover market access, distribution, system integration, government and enterprise projects, and after-sales support for deploying humanoid robots across education, hospitality, retail, healthcare and smart city settings. The Ibtikar arrangement points towards robotics curriculum distribution, STEM programmes and rental-based deployment, meaning UAE schools and businesses could eventually hire a robot rather than buy one. This feeds into Faraday Future’s larger strategy of building a Three-in-One ecosystem of devices, data and an EAI Brain, with the Middle East positioned as a key testing ground for putting Embodied AI to work.
