HappyRobot, a San Francisco-based startup deploying AI agents for supply chain phone calls, emails, and scheduling, has raised $150 million in Series C funding at a $1.2 billion post-money valuation. Prysm Capital led the round, co-led by Eurazeo, which manages €40 billion in assets. Existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Base10 Partners, and Y Combinator returned, joined by Koch Disruptive Technologies, Orange, Deutsche Telekom's T.Capital, Bankinter, Endeavor Catalyst, Kfund, and Wave-X. The raise brings total funding to approximately $200 million, crossing the unicorn threshold less than 20 months after its first institutional round. HappyRobot reports net dollar retention above 150%, compared to a median of around 117% for enterprise software companies at IPO and a 125% benchmark considered strong. Founded in 2022 by Pablo Palafox, his brother Javi, and childhood friend Luis Paarup, the company pivoted to logistics after its initial computer vision auto-labeling tool failed to gain traction following Y Combinator's Summer 2023 cohort. Pablo Palafox holds a PhD in AI and computer vision and previously researched at Meta's Reality Labs, but credits sitting with customers' operators for the company's success. Paarup runs product and engineering, Javi manages operations and early sales, and Pablo handles deployments.
