Amazon Quick, an AI tool demonstrated at an AWS Korea press conference and hands-on session on the 12th, was tested by reporters who used it to research product information, link local folders with Quick-related guides, and analyze previously written articles to train its writing style. The AI then drafted an article and saved it as a Word file with images. Attendees also developed a skill for finding and organizing Quick-related news, configured an agent to use it, and scheduled the task to run every Monday at 10:00 AM. The core of Amazon Quick, as experienced firsthand, lies in task execution rather than just answering questions, leveraging user-connected materials and context for subsequent tasks. The desktop app accesses only user-designated local folders to search for files such as PDFs, DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX. Park Hye-young, Senior Solutions Architect at AWS Korea, stated that corporate AI use is moving toward AI agents that make independent judgments and take action, and emphasized that integrating AI into existing systems and business processes is more important than adding new tools. She cited a Gartner survey showing high-performing organizations share a commonality of integrating AI into existing systems.
