KUALA LUMPUR (July 9) — Information technology services firm SRKK AI Bhd (KL:SRKKAI) is betting on its long-standing partnership with Microsoft to support its regional expansion plans, including its entry into Indonesia, following its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia. Chief executive officer Yew Lip Sin said Microsoft has been providing sales leads and introducing potential opportunities in the region, supported by SRKK AI’s technical capabilities within Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. The company has already secured a proof-of-concept (POC) project with a large Indonesian conglomerate, and expects to establish its Jakarta office within weeks after its listing. As part of its initial public offering (IPO), SRKK AI allocated RM1.84 million towards its Indonesian expansion. Chief operating officer Yeoh Kai Hearn said the company is not looking to diversify into other cloud platforms at this stage, but will continue developing partnerships with complementary technology providers such as Kaseya, Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Sangfor Technologies. Addressing concerns over a potential slowdown in artificial intelligence-related investments, Yew said SRKK AI operates at the application layer of the AI ecosystem.
