Runway has launched Runway Dev, a new AI media platform for professional developers and enterprise teams, offering models, custom workflows, and security controls. The platform is already used by teams at companies including Adobe, ElevenLabs, Shutterstock, Figma Weave, Gamma and Silverside to generate millions of videos, images and other creative content. Runway Dev includes first-party access to models Gen-4.5, Aleph 2.0 and Act-Two, alongside third-party models such as Seedance, GPT Image 2 and ElevenLabs. It also features Recipes, which are pre-built endpoints for specific outcomes like Ad Localization, Product Ad, Product Swap, Multi-Shot Video and Marketing Stock Image. Workflows allow users to combine multiple models and tasks into custom pipelines triggered via API. Examples include a major broadcaster running an API-integrated workflow that lets a 5-person team produce 800-1,000 ads a year across 50+ studio labels, and a global retailer generating over 1,000 product shots a month through an automated pipeline.
