Employees of the Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation are undergoing a three-day Employee Development Programme on “Prompt Engineering, AI Tools and Their Applications” at Graphic Era Deemed University, which commenced today, 28 Jul, in Dehradun. At the inaugural session, Vice Chancellor Dr Narpinder Singh said that Artificial Intelligence is not a replacement for humans but a supportive tool that enhances efficiency, adding that obtaining better results requires clear and precise instructions and verifying factual accuracy. Acting Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University, Dr Tabassum Naqvi urged participants to overcome hesitation towards technology. The training will cover effective prompt engineering, practical use of ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, cyber security, and AI-enabled office workflows. The programme is jointly organised by the Schools of Management of Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University, and was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Santosh S Saraf, Registrar Dr Naresh Kumar Sharma, Head of the School of Management Dr Navneet Rawat, and Dr Shyam Kapri.
