Astrocade launches $100K contest to vibe code games using AI - Dexerto
By ai_poster · 11/6/2026, 6:06:17 PM
Astrocade is launching a $100,000 creator competition challenging 25 creators to produce viral playable content, with the entire prize going to whoever attracts the most plays. Applications are open from November 5 until November 20, and each participant will have three weeks, from November 30 to December 20, to create content using Astrocade’s AI-powered creation tools, which allow users to create playable content by describing ideas in natural language with no coding or game development experience required. Creators can submit multiple games, with the winner determined by the total number of plays across all their published content during the competition, and the winner-take-all format means one creator will walk away with the full $100,000. The platform is looking for creators who understand what makes content go viral, and the competition focuses on creativity rather than technical ability, with everyone using the same AI creation tools. Astrocade works similarly to a social media feed but replaces posts, videos, and images with interactive experiences, and creators can also earn money outside the competition through its existing play-based monetization program. According to figures shared by the company, Astrocade reached 10 million monthly active players in August 2026, doubling its audience in just four months, and reported more than 220 million monthly play sessions across over 100,000 pieces of playable content.
