June AI, a startup automating enterprise software implementation and modernization for the AI era, emerged from stealth with $20 million in pre-seed funding. TIME Ventures, founded by Salesforce co-founder Marc Benioff, led the investment. Strategic investors include Michael Dell, Diane Greene, Aaron Levie, and George Kurtz, with SV Angel, Conviction Embed, Abstract, A*, Vesey Ventures and other firms also participating. The platform uses AI agents to automate analysis, configuration, migration, and deployment work traditionally done by implementation teams, beginning with process mining and working within data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. Co-founder and CEO Efrat Rapoport noted that AI has created more demand for professional services, adding, “We don’t just recommend the changes, we implement, deploy and drive adoption of them.” The company was founded by Rapoport, CTO Idan Tsitiat, president Barak Goldstein, and chief architect Ohad Hen, who previously founded conversational intelligence startup Bonobo AI, acquired by Salesforce in 2019, and spent about five years developing AI products inside Salesforce. June AI’s competitive landscape includes consulting and systems-integration firms such as Accenture and Deloitte, along with enterprise software companies with professional services organizations.
