Elephant Robotics has launched the ultraArm P340, a new robot for education, aiming to make robotics more accessible by addressing the challenges of size, weight, and cost. The company, which has previously released desktop collaborative robots including the myCobot, mechArm, and myPalletizer, also offers the AI Robot Kit, a robotic kit integrating functions like vision, positioning grabbing, and automatic sorting modules. This year, Elephant Robotics is unveiling completely improved and upgraded products, including an upgraded AI Kit that improves hardware quality while optimizing built-in algorithms and software for flexibility and scalability. The company also released new educational material, starting with a book called “Machine Vision and Robotics,” which covers robotic arms and vision sensors, includes five algorithm courses, and tutorials on programming languages. Users can learn machine vision practically through experiments with the AI Kit, and the provided visualization software is friendly for new robotics users without programming experience. The AI Kit 2023 uses a camera with higher accuracy and light adjustment to make the robotic arm more efficient in object recognition.
