FloSports and The Athletic announced a first-of-its-kind partnership to coproduce a live NHL Draft Show, titled "The Athletic Hockey Show x FloHockey NHL Draft Live," streaming live on Friday, June 26 from 7-11 p.m. ET and Saturday, June 27 from 5-6:30 p.m. ET. The free broadcast, hosted by experts including FloHockey’s Chris Peters and The Athletic’s Corey Pronman, Scott Wheeler, and Max Bultman, will stream across FloHockey and The Athletic channels, offering an alternative viewing experience alongside official NHL broadcasts. The show will mine FloHockey’s content library featuring many prospects whose names will be called on Draft Day. Josh Siskin, GM of FloHockey, stated that fans want context, expertise, and a deeper understanding of players. The collaboration reinforces FloHockey’s position as a comprehensive destination for hockey coverage beyond the NHL level, noting that 74% of future NHL stars come through leagues seen exclusively on FloHockey.
