Formerly Chief Technology Officer of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Kiessling will lead PassiveLogic through its next phase of commercial scale, category leadership, and global growth. The announcement was made on July 8, 2026, from Salt Lake City. The appointment comes as commercial and industrial buildings consume nearly 40% of global energy, yet fewer than 5% operate as truly intelligent assets. PassiveLogic created the industry's first Autonomous Platform for the Built Environment, based on Quantum, the company's physics-based world model and ontology, and Hive, the autonomous edge platform. The platform automatically generates digital twins of a building's infrastructure and applies thermodynamic, physics-based AI to continuously optimize building performance. Kiessling stated that buildings, energy systems, and infrastructure will become autonomous participants in the economy, and PassiveLogic has built the technological foundation to make that future possible.
