TBC hosted its 2026 Sustainable Development Event, “Sustainable Transformation: AI, Technology, Business and Impact,” at the multifunctional TBC Concept space, focusing on artificial intelligence’s role in advancing sustainable development and creating opportunities for positive impact. The event brought together more than 100 guests, including representatives of partner organizations, international institutions, businesses and media, as well as TBC employees and customers. Nino Masurashvili, TBC Deputy CEO and Chief Risk Officer, opened the event, speaking about the bank’s technological achievements and innovation’s positive impact on businesses, employees and society. Maka Bochiorishvili, TBC’s ESG Coordinator, presented the company’s sustainable development work, highlighting its sustainable portfolio, green financing and renewable energy initiatives, and support for women’s empowerment, diversity and sustainable education. Ana Avaliani, Director of Enterprise and Spatial Development at the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK, gave a keynote on sustainable transformation, discussing international practices, established perceptions and real potential. A panel discussion featured TBC technology experts Konstantine Khoperia and Nutsa Abazadze, alongside Shota Elkanishvili of GAIA and Grazia Frontoso of Databricks, covering jointly implemented projects, AI and inclusion, and future opportunities.
