In the global top 20 list based on the Physical Artificial Intelligence (AI) Patent Asset Index (PAI), AI Big Tech, finished cars, medical devices, and semiconductor companies are engaged in a fierce battle, with physical AI patent assets increasing sharply since 2020 when Generative AI and robotics technologies began to combine in earnest. By country, the U.S. and Japan each ranked six companies in the top 20, accounting for the highest proportion. In the United States, precision medical robot companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Intuitive Surgical joined AI and semiconductor dinosaurs such as Nvidia, Alphabet, Intel, Qualcomm, and Microsoft. Japan has a large number of finished cars such as Toyota and Honda and traditional precision manufacturing and robotics powers such as Hwanak, Sony, Canon, and Panasonic. In Korea and China, three companies were listed at the top, and in Germany, two companies, Siemens and Bosch, entered. Growth patterns were divided into "emerging strong," "mature lead," and "stable growth."
