Tiger Global Management has centered its core portfolio on five AI infrastructure stocks, with TSMC ranked as its top holding, according to analysis by Joel South of 24/7 Wall St. The hedge fund, run by American billionaire Chase Coleman, believes all GPU chip capital spending ultimately flows to TSMC, which manufactures chips for Nvidia, Amazon, Alphabet, and Meta. Market research firm IDC reported global AI infrastructure spending reached $89.7 billion in Q1 2026, up 33.1% year-over-year, and revised its full-year 2026 forecast upward to $497 billion, representing approximately 56% annual growth.
