The Oppo Reno 16, set to debut on July 2, features the new AI Snap Key, a customisable hardware button for instantly saving screenshots, notes, and references into AI Mind Space; a long press records voice notes, and a double tap opens the memory hub. AI Mind Pilot combines Gemini, Perplexity and ChatGPT into one interface for comparing responses. The device also introduces AI Bill Manager for organising receipts and SMS alerts while recognising multiple currencies, AI Menu Translation for restaurant menus, AI Voice Translation, AI Live Translator, AI Recording Sticker for searchable meeting summaries, and AI Scan for converting physical documents. The Reno 16 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with ColorOS 16, which includes the Live Space interface with Capsule Mode, Immersive Mode and List Mode. Privacy features include Private Computing Cloud for encrypted AI processing and Oppo Lock with remote locking, SIM removal protection and chip-level security.
