Indonesia Promotes Deep Learning Approach in Schools

Indonesia's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is promoting a "deep learning approach"—a pedagogical concept stressing meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning, not neural networks—as its response to the digital era, citing cybersecurity threats, data-protection risks, transnational crime, and the growing use of artificial intelligence as challenges students must face.
