Dell Technologies announced the XPS Googlebook, a 13-inch premium laptop powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor and the first XPS device designed for Gemini Intelligence, built for Android users. The company said it is the first Dell laptop built for Gemini Intelligence, expanding the XPS portfolio into a space where premium options have been limited. The laptop has a solid aluminum chassis, weighs 2.2lbs and is 12.7mm thin, with a backlit chiclet keyboard, a glass touchpad, and a 2.5K InfinityEdge touch display featuring edge-to-edge glass, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and 500 nits of brightness, with a variable refresh rate adjusting between 30Hz and 120Hz. It offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, an NPU, a dual-fan cooling system, and up to 16 hours of Netflix streaming on a single charge. Gemini Intelligence is integrated through features including Magic Pointer, which activates Gemini with a cursor wiggle, and proactive background suggestions. The device syncs with Android phones, allowing users to view, search and insert phone files, photos and downloads, with notifications, messages and app context aligned across devices and Android apps accessible without additional installs. A Glowbar on the lid indicates battery life.
