According to an Okta analysis of anonymized access data from over 20,000 companies, reported by Japan's ITmedia on July 23, Anthropic recorded the fastest growth in the enterprise AI tools market. On a relative index setting Anthropic's growth rate at 100, OpenAI scored 66.9, Google Workspace 59.8, GitHub 56.6, and Cursor 42.4. The survey covered four years from June 2022 to June 2026, focusing on AI tools for knowledge workers and software developers. By number of corporate accounts, Microsoft 365 was the largest, followed by Google Workspace. Anthropic's growth accelerated further after January 2026, with its corporate accounts surging, while growth for OpenAI and Cursor became more moderate. About 57 percent of surveyed companies used at least two AI platforms simultaneously, adopting a "right tool for the right job" approach. The analysis concluded the enterprise AI market is moving toward a competitive structure of multiple platforms rather than a single winner.
