Mission Cloud, now operating as “Mission, A CDW Company” since its acquisition in November 2024, has sharpened its role as CDW’s dedicated Amazon Web Services practice. Ted Stuart, president and chief operating officer, told CRN that the company recently introduced new AI offerings, including AIM (AI with Mission) and Five-by-Five-by-Five, which helps customers work with five stakeholders, five data sources, and five days to move toward usable AI outcomes. Stuart said most customers are past debating whether AI matters and are focused on execution, prioritization, and business alignment. Mission aims to move customers beyond traditional proofs of concept, which often fail due to data, governance, and security issues, positioning Five-by-Five-by-Five as a minimum viable product approach that can go into production sooner. Mission has completed more than 400 AI projects, and Stuart noted that newer packaged offerings improve success rates. Within CDW, ranked No. 5 in CRN’s 2026 Solution Provider 500, Mission does not compete with Azure or Google Cloud practices. Looking ahead, Mission will continue enhancing AI products ahead of AWS re:Invent and expanding agentic AI use, particularly in migration assessments, as Stuart stated that “the agents can just produce far more depth than humans can do in the same amount of time.”
