Anthropic is testing a beta feature for Claude AI that prompts users to reflect on their usage and consider whether they are using it too much. The reflection begins with a summary of how users have been using Claude, covering key topics, usage patterns, and task types, with the option to review chat activity over the past one, three, six months, or 12 months. The feature provides a breakdown of when users use Claude most and what they worked on, and will soon add a view of total time spent. Claude will periodically prompt users to consider overuse, and Anthropic suggests discussing concerns with Claude. Users can also set quiet hours or schedule a nudge to take a break after a certain amount of time. Additionally, Anthropic promotes the 4D AI Fluency Framework: Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence.
