Yesterday Apple released beta 2 for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and more, but watchOS was absent; today, watchOS 27 developer beta 2 has arrived to complete the lineup. Testers can access it from the Watch app on iPhone, as long as iOS 27 is already installed. Beta 2 is currently unavailable on Apple Watch Ultra 3, but it is out for other supported models. When the first watchOS 27 beta arrived earlier this month, Siri AI was a key missing feature. Apple says Siri AI is coming to watchOS just like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS, and the company pointed to Siri, in part, to explain why so many Apple Watch models are not supported by the new software. According to Apple, Siri AI in watchOS 27 should be able to do all the things it can on other platforms. When Siri AI was first unveiled, Apple confirmed it would be available for testing in iOS 27 and more right away, but added “Siri AI will be available for developer testing in a future watchOS 27 beta.”
