Securonix has appointed industry veteran Toby Weiss as Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of growth, focusing on AI-driven security operations, advanced analytics and improved operational efficiency for enterprise customers and MSSPs. Weiss takes charge as enterprises and managed security service providers face increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, growing compliance requirements and mounting pressure to improve security outcomes while controlling operational costs. The company said Weiss will lead its next phase of growth by advancing the Unified Defense SIEM platform, which combines advanced analytics, Data Pipeline Manager (DPM) and Agentic AI capabilities. Nadeem Syed, Executive Chairman of the Securonix Board and Senior Managing Director at Vista Equity Partners, stated that Weiss brings a powerful combination of cybersecurity expertise, enterprise software leadership, and operational excellence. Weiss brings more than three decades of leadership experience; prior to joining Securonix, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Fiery and previously held senior leadership roles at Application Security, Inc. and CA Technologies. Weiss said customers want better security outcomes, greater operational efficiency, and the ability to scale without proportionally increasing costs, and that Securonix is uniquely positioned to deliver on those priorities.
